Summary

One Above All (translated as "The One Above All" or the Almighty) is the mysterious entity considered the creator god of the Marvel Multiverse. He is also the enigmatic master of the Living Court. One Above All is not the conception of any religious deity, and is superior to all of them (which have appeared in the Marvel Multiverse.)

His first official appearance was in Sensational Spider-Man Vol 2 # 40. This entity created Earth-616 and all its alternate realities. Millennia later the Living Court mentions to Doctor Strange that he has a boss, and that everyone calls him "God." Years later, Thanos, the Titan destroyed all existence with the help of the "Heart of the Universe", however. After restoring the universe using the Heart of the Universe, he realized that it had been manipulated by One-Above-All to fix a flaw in all reality. When Asteroth nearly killed Beta Ray Bill, a mysterious being dressed in white clothes brought him back to life. Some time later, the Fantastic Four traveled to paradise to rescue Ben Grimm's soul, and in the end, they find God in a metaphysical allusion to Jack Kirby (designer of Marvel's original stories). And recently he appeared in a story prior to the events of the "One More Day" saga to encourage Peter Parker when Aunt May was on her deathbed. Due to Jack Kirby's image as The Supreme "God" of the Marvel Multiverse, some people argue that One Above All would be Stan Lee or even Jack Kirby, for being the creators of most of Marvel Comics' most acclaimed characters, and the rare mentions to the character are metaphysical elements in magazines, or even break points of the Fourth Wall.
